The northern border of the Reyano Herd Territory is a jagged peak called The Needle. This peak is the tallest in the Arcano Mountains, and the pass to get from the southern side to the northern side is treacherous. The Needle towers over the Southern Arcano Mountains, and creates a natural border between the Southern mountains and the Northern mountains. As the Northern Arcano Mountains are part of Lone Spirit territory, this Needle keeps trespassers at bay. The pass over The Needle is steep, rocky, and the high elevation makes it deadly. Horses coming from the Northern Arcano Mountains who attempt to cross over The Needle must be young, strong, and physically capable of climbing the peak. If a Lone Spirit does manage to cross from the Northern Arcano Mountains into the Reyano territory on the southern side of The Needle, Lord Descaro of the Reyano Herd will quite likely accept them into his herd, should they wish to join. The courage, strength, and tenacity required to cross The Needle are just the skills that the Reyano Herd treasures. The Reyano Herd territory goes to the top of The Needle on the southern side, but patrols from the Reyano Herd do not scale the peak during scouting expeditions. If a Lone Spirit is found at the southern base of The Needle, they will be challenged by a scouting patrol, who may chose to lead the stranger to Lord Descaro. A Lone Spirit will be confronted if found in this territory, but not chased off immediately. Should this steed chose to tresspass further into the Southern Arcano Mountains, however, the consequences could be deadly.

This territory is part of the Reyano Herd Border Outskirts. Lone Spirits found here will be challenged, but will not be chased off immediately. Should a Lone Spirit seek to join the Reyano Herd, they must venture into a Reyano Border Outskirt territory and be challenged by a patrol.
*Dangers: Elevation, dehydration, rockslides, starvation, fatigue*
Please keep in mind that not every horse can navigate this territory. Foals, injured horses, pregnant mares, and older horses would not survive climbing The Needle. If you chose for your horse to attempt to cross The Needle, you MUST contact the site owner or an admin for approval first. Even if your horse is approved by the site owner or an admin to attempt to climb The Needle, that is no guarantee they will survive. Even the strongest horses may perish here. Please keep your horse's journey over the peak realistic. This may include your horse becoming injured, weak, or even dying. The player may chose what happens to their horse, but please keep it realistic.
